Downloads
How do I get my pattern after I buy it?
Right after checkout, your order confirmation page shows a download button for each file. We also email the links to you, and if you have an account they are saved in the Downloads tab of your account.
Do I need an account to buy?
No. You can check out with just your email address. An account is optional and keeps all your downloads in one place.
I lost my download links. What can I do?
First check your inbox, including the spam or promotions folder, for your order email. If you have an account with the same email address, your files are in the Downloads tab.
Still can't find them? Contact us with your order number and we will send you new links.
Am I buying a physical item?
No. You are buying a digital crochet pattern as PDF files. Nothing is shipped, and yarn and hooks are not included.
Files and printing
Which files do I get?
Every pattern comes as four PDFs: full-color and printer-friendly versions in both US Letter and A4 formats.
What do I need to open the files?
Any PDF reader works, including the free readers built into most phones, tablets, computers and web browsers.
Which version should I print?
- Use US Letter if your paper is 8.5 × 11 in, and A4 if it is 210 × 297 mm.
- Choose the printer-friendly version for home printing.
- In the print dialog, choose “100%” or “Actual size” so charts are not scaled down.
Terms and sizing
Are the patterns written in US or UK terms?
All patterns use US crochet terms. If you learned with UK terms, here are common terms side by side:

Are measurements in inches or centimeters?
Both. Every measurement is given in inches and centimeters.
How do I choose my size?
Check the sizes and finished measurements listed on the product page and in the pattern. Measure yourself, or a similar piece you like the fit of, and pick the size closest to the result you want.
Always work a gauge swatch first. If your gauge differs from the pattern, change your hook size until it matches, otherwise the finished size and yarn amount will change too.
Using the pattern
Can I sell the items I make?
Yes, you may sell finished items you make from the pattern. A credit such as “Pattern by Crochetpatterns.us” is appreciated. You may not share, resell or redistribute the PDF. See the license for details.
What if a file is faulty or never arrived?
Contact us with your order number. If a file is faulty or was not delivered, we will send a replacement or refund you. See our refund policy.
